Do you pay attention to my blog?

I was just wondering that a few minutes ago, so I decided to do an experiment:
The first 5 students to leave the definition of the word "ping" (as related to computers) as a comment on this post will get extra credit.

  1. This comment has been removed by the author.

  2. Ping is a IP service or a network utility that tested whether you are able to reach the other networks that are connected or sent from your local host.
    - from

  3. -verb (used without object)
to produce a sharp sound like that of a bullet striking a sheet of metal.

  4. Used to test network connections. It can be used to determine if a remote device can be reached across the network and, if so, the connection's latency.

  5. Its similar to the latency of a computer.Ping is a specific method for sending messages from one computer to another.

  6. Ping: This is a program that allows a computer to verify an internet's IP address and to make sure that a host of that internet is able to accept other user's requests.

  7. Yay! That's my five. (Not sure why Florence decided to delete hers... but... whatever.) Thanks for playing, and make sure you always check this page!
